The ideal machine for the Doll-Couturier!

Sold

Stunning, hard-to-find Singer Featherweight 222K free-arm machine in excellent condition from about 1957, completely serviced. She sews beautifully as you can see from the stitching sample sewn on a piece of finest Swiss mousseline without the aid of a "walking foot" or anything else, just letting the fabric feed through freely. In addition, there is a box of extra feet with German instructions (easily followed because of the illustrations) and, as an added bonus, the embroidery hoop with embroidery foot (usually the foot is missing), original Singer machine oil and Singer lubricant. The decals are in very good condition and are original.
It is a 230-250 volt machine but will sew perfectly with 110 volts with the aid of a step-down transformer, available from (amongst others) Amazon for under $ 100.
The free arm is 18.4 cm (7 1/4") in circumference.

The box is in very good condition, and the decals show hardly any signs of wear. A few scratches can be found, as one would expect in a machíne of this age.

The perfect machine for those who sew small or difficult items, since she handles fine and heavy fabrics with equal ease.
The perfect machine for every Doll-Couturier and my one favorite doll couture sewing machine!

Check out the photos since they show everything included with the machine.
