Pearls

All old stock and limited supply only, some very limited!

Vintage strings of pearls, some as early as the 1920s  and up to the 1970s and 1980s. these are pressed glass beads covered with fishsilver, a mother-of-pearl like substance won from the scales of the Ukeley fish. This method is not used any more today since fishsilver is very expensive. However, the glow and beauty of the fishsilver is exceptional, and cannot be compared to the mass products of today.
