Decals for Firing, per Set

Gorgeous tiny floral decals pefect for the pitcher and bowl  and to decorate many other glazed ceramic items. A set contains 20 different designs, each with  about 4 to 8 pieces, depending on size. Intricate bouquets will only come in 1 each. All designs are small and very small, perfect for small accessories for small dolls, like Madame Sidonie.

Procedure:

1) cut the desired decal from the sheet and place it in warm water. The decal will initially roll up but it will straighten again within 15 seconds.

2) Remove the decal from the water after about a minute or 2, dampen the glazed piece with some warm water, separate the paper from the transfer and carefully slide the decal onto the piece, moving it gently to its correct position.

3) Use a damp sponge to blot the decal gently, removing excess water and air bubbles.

4) Let the piece overnight until it is perfectly dry and fire it like a normal china painting  (from Junior Orton cone 018 to about Junior Orton cone 016, maximum Junior Orton cone 015). Decals containing gold should be fired to Junior Orton cone 018.
