100% Swiss cotton. Mousseline: Similar to batiste, yet finer and more delicate. While slightly see-through, it still is of a dense weave using a very fine thread. The best Mousseline comes from Switzerland.

Wonderful, super fine quality old cotton with a good hand. It can be used for small as well as large dolls and can be gathered tightly without excessive bulk.  Blue with shaded lighter blue stripes that just blend into the stronger color. From India, around the 1960's (or even earlier, I cannot tell). It has a slight "old" smell of old cotton (see Gildebrief 4/04 "Piccolettes" for an example of a finished doll dress). Old stock, limited quantity.

5 mm checks in pale beige and pale dusky aqua, lovely light-weight quality. Machtes plain cotton satin BWL-2035.

Hand-loomed, light-weight, semi-sheer muslin goods from the 1960's to 70's with narrow off-whie, khaki and pale blue stripes. Matches old cotton fabric  BWL-2031.

This light-weight, semi-sheer cotton muslin from the 1960s to 70's goes well with striped old cotton  BWL-2030 and would also look good with old cotton fabric BWL-2029 und BWL-2028 aus. The 10.5 cm wide center strip could simply be cut out and used otherwise. Washed-out pale blue with red/blue/yellow/green/white/black/ and pink stripe along the middle.

Dainty, slightly transparent printed cotton with small 2mm tufted dots, 18 mm apart.
