Braid, rayon, 3 mm wide - general information:

Soft, supple, filligree, flat narrow braid (almost like silk) with an interesting twisted loop picot in a large selection of gorgous colors - none are garish. For shoes (picots facing either in or out), to edge contrast ribbons are fabric strips on garments, to form into curves and curls, used shaded in several colors, formed ijnto a rosette (picots facing out) glued onto paper or buckram, for hats, bags, garments or to trim pretty boxes - the uses are endless.

Gorgeous looped silk fringe with trimmed heading , designed by KB especially for French Fashion Poupées (and other dolls). Loops won't pull out!

Very easy to dye!
Rinse the fringe in cold water. Put the dye in a large pot with plenty of luke warm water. Heat the water slowly, stirring until the dye is dissolved. Immerse the wet fringe into the warm to hot (not yet boiling) water and stir constantly to achieve an even dye. Once the desired tone is achieved (can only be seen after the fringe is dry), rinse in cold water, press out excess water, dry in the dryer and press. It helps to straighten the loops with a comb on the ironing board.
